LOSS OF POWER AT BULAWAYO RAINBOW HOTEL 3 NOVEMBER 2016

There was an electrical fault in the basement of the Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel this afternoon which resulted in the loss of power to the hotel. This caused smoke to infiltrate the lower floors of the hotel.  As a precaution all guests and staff were evacuated. Three technicians who were working on the fault were injured and transported to United Bulawayo Hospital. They are however in stable condition. Currently Zesa technicians are working to restore power back to the hotel.    Contact:         Pride Khumbula        Title:                Corporate Communications & Innovations Manager Email:              pride.khumbula@rtg.co.zw Cell:                0772 145 208 Land:              (04)
