Tendai Madziwanyika – Chief Executive Officer
Tendai Madziwanyika was appointed Chief Executive of the Company with effect from 5th November 2012. Tendai has held senior positions in the FMCG and hospitality industries including, being the Managing Director of a listed hospitality group in Zimbabwe. He is the immediate past President of the Zimbabwe Council for Tourism. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science (B Compt.) from the University of South Africa and a Master of Business Administration (with distinction) from Hull University (United Kingdom).
Napoleon Mtukwa – Finance Director
Mr. Mtukwa is the current Finance Director and Company Secretary. He is a fellow member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). Mr. Mtukwa has previously held accounting positions at Unilever Zimbabwe and Mobil Oil. He also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree and an Honours Degree in Applied Accounting with the University of Zimbabwe. He has vast experience at Senior Management level including years of serving in the position of Group Finance Manager and Group Management Accountant for Rainbow Tourism Group.
Samson Chitsato – Head: Risk and Internal Audit
Mr. Chitsato has over 13 years of experience in internal audit and risk management. He has worked for Star Africa Corporation, OK Zimbabwe Limited and Meikles Retail Group at various management levels in internal audit. Mr. Chitsato is a Certified Internal Auditor and also holds a Master of Audit Management and Consultancy degree from Birmingham City University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators Zimbabwe.
Caroline Mapfumo – Human Resources Director
Caroline Mapfumo is the Human Resources Director for Rainbow Tourism Group. She holds a BCom in Human Resources Management from the University of South Africa (UNISA), an IPMZ Personnel Management distinction Diploma as well as a Systemic Counseling Certificate from the Zimbabwe Institute of Systemic Therapy.
Shupai Marware – Commercial Director
Mr. Marware has over 15 years’ experience in various hotel management which include being Marketing Manager and Group Sales Manager for African Sun Limited. Prior to joining RTG, he was the Sales Executive for Cresta Sales Office (South Africa). Shupai holds the following qualifications Master of Business Leadership degree (UNISA), Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management (UZ), BBA degree in Marketing Communication and a Diploma in Financial Management (UK).
Clement Mboma – Head: Business Information Systems
Clement Mboma has over 15 years’ experience in Information Technology, he worked for SFG Insurance as IT Manager for eight years and spent four years as the Group Chief Information Officer for REAL Insurance Group with offices in Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi and Mozambique. He returned home in 2012 to join Tetrad Investment Bank as the Group IT Operations and Infrastructure Manager. He joined RTG Limited on the 1st of March 2014 as the Head- Business Information Systems. Clement Holds a MSc degree in Strategic Information Technology Management from the University of Derby –United Kingdom, a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire – United Kingdom and a Higher Diploma in the Management of Information Systems. He is a full member of the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS), member of Computer Society of Zimbabwe, member of the Computer Society of South Africa and honorary member of the CIO100 East Africa.
